(1) We found out about The Prisoner’s Dilemma - an experiment of game theory that explores ethical decisions.

We want to see if there is a way we can utilise the same mechanics of The Prisoner’s Dilemma in the form of our show and offer our audience a way to explore the ethical implications of climate change through action.

(2) We found a great article that discusses environmental storytelling in escape rooms. We were particularly interested in what it talks about ‘framing the avatar’ of the audience and referring to them as a character.

Up until this point we just thought of the audience as an audience, but they could be framed/referred to as a single character or person.

(3) Tim took part in an R&D with the National Youth Theatre via Zoom in which he was tasked with creating a escape game about climate change! Here are his notes from the people running the session on how to make a show about the climate crisis
